TYPE 546 – True Union Ball Valve

New, safer improved true union ball valve; O-ring seat backing provides constant torque. Corrosion resistant and maintenance free. Dual end connectors provided for PVC and CPVC. This valve is available in "Silicon Free" upon request. Can be factory or field supplied with electric or pneumatic actuator. Handle/stem extensions are available.

TYPE 543 – True Union 3-Way Ball Valves – Horizontal and Vertical Port

Type 546 - Control Ball Valve

This is the ideal ball valve to be used for precise control of solution flow.  This valve offers a "characterized" ball that provides a near linear opening increase with ball rotation.  Similar flow CV deviations as you would find with diaphragm valves.  This valve is available in PVC, polypro and PVDF materials in sizes of 1/2" to 2" and can be supplied as a manual or actuated valve.  The ideal valve to be used with automated positioners and controllers.

TYPE 523 –Metering Ball Valve

Precise control of minimal flow quantities. Large indicator scale and handle pointer allows fine adjustment of flow rates from ounces to gallon per minute. The V notch ball provides a very linear curve using 180 degree rotation of the handle.  Standard overall length dimensions with type 546 union valves.

  • PVC, polypropylene and PVDF

TYPE 514 – High Flow True Union Diaphragm Valve

Diaphragm valves are ideal for flow control applications.  The diaphragm / weir adjustment give variable opening for precise control of solution rates.  Suitable for slurries and abrasive media. Corrosion resistant and maintenance free. Standard overall lengths.   Also available with actuator - see below.  Similar valve design available in polypropylene or PVDF.  

Type 317 - up to 6"

TYPE 522 – Needle Valve

This valve may be used in a wide range of services where SYGEF (PVDF) is suitable in the chemical and general environmental limits of the installation. Specific applications should be evaluated on the basis of pressure, temperature and flow capacity desired. Non-lubricated/no contaminants GF-needle.jpg (4325 bytes)to leach into process fluid. Designed to allow complete disassembly for inspection or cleaning. Broad chemical resistance with rugged construction.

The ¼" and ¾" ports are standard pipe threads (NPT) and may be adapted to tube fittings, socket adapters or other piping components. Available in either angle or globe body style.

TYPE 360 – Ball Check Valves

Good flow characteristics.  Ball (A) is lifted by solution movement - Seats against elastomer (B) when flow stops to prevent back flow.  O-ring seals (D) at end connectors (C) provide easy installation and service.  Standard overall length dimensions with type 346 union valves.

TYPE 304 – Y-Check Valve – PVC Translucent Body

With a clear body, the movement of the check will indicate flow.  Excellent flow characteristics. Minimum pressure loss. Mount horizontally or vertically. The soft seat (4) and weight loaded (5) check  offer excellent performance.  Efficient at low working pressures.

TYPE 306 – Line Strainer – PVC Translucent Body

Translucent body lets you know when it is time clean. Union nut and snap ring make cleaning easy. Corrosion resistant screen is supplied in 20 mesh. Extra screens available in 8, 12, 20, or 30 mesh separately.

Note regarding end connectors:

True union – this will allow for the exchange of valves with out piping modifications – remove the union nut and the valve will drop out. Socket and threaded connections are available. These can also be provided with metric socket connectors. Union only are available to make easy transition from metric to IPS (US piping dimensions) with components mixing of metric and NPT or socket.

Spigot ends – this is the designation of male pipe ends. Easily adapts to couplings or male adapter or flanges.
