|TYPE 367 Butterfly Valve
Corrosion resistance and maintenance free. Long working life. Available with lever handle or gear operator and electric or pneumatic actuators. Unique dynamic seal as primary waterway seal, captivated in an undercut groove in disc. The greater the pressure the tighter the seal. Static secondary seal that isolates the shaft from fluid being transported. Easily removable index plate provides for quick conversion to actuated valve use, also incorporates O-ring seal to seal out corrosive atmospheres and caps over top of shaft and bottom to protect against corrosive attack.
TYPE 570 Butterfly Valve
An economical, high performance, lug or wafer style butterfly valve designed specifically for situations where a dead-end line is needed. Features a high strength disc with a special offset design which provides reduced seat wear and lower operating torque. Some standard features are reversible handle, 316 stainless steel shaft and hardware and gear operator.
The optional lug inserts allow the valve to be installed with only one flange - thus dead end. This valve, like the above Type 367 , is normally installed between two flanges (wafer mounting).
Type 035 Electric Actuated Butterfly
Using the Type 367 short shaft version Butterfly valve, GF combines a visually attractive and heavy duty actuator for this package. The manual over ride is standard with this unit. The over ride handle indicates the position of the valve at all times.
For the 2 1/2" and 3" valves, the actuator is Type EA30 - The actuator is corrosion resistant glass fiber filled polypropylene to prevent attack from exterior chemical attack. A large visual indicator on the top of the actuator advises position of the valve. A gear driven DC motor is rated for 100% DUTY CYCLE for the 2 1/2 and 3". Adjustable internal limit switches allow for partial closing or opening. 110 volt/220volt or 24 VAC/VDC with DIN connector. Field added circuits allow for external process control. Control time is 12 seconds
For 4" and 8" valves, the actuator is Type EA41. Duty cycle is 50% with other features similar to EA30 including the glass fiber filled polypropylene enclosure.
|TYPE 036 Pneumatically Air Actuated Butterfly Valve
Using the (above) Type 367, this is a rugged industrial design, extremely sturdy and safe actuator unit. Intermediate housing is offered with or without manual override. Installation position is independent of flow direction also optimum flow characteristics. Has a long maintenance free working life, simple assembly and airtight valves. Shaft made from stainless steel completely encapsulated and thus corrosion resistant.
