Applied properly, your Iwaki Walchem magnetic drive pump will run longer, quieter and cooler than any traditional mag drive. Extraordinarily high efficiencies make WMD, MD & MDH the clear choice in almost every process, recirculation or transfer application. Choose standard alumina ceramic bearing material and polypropylene impeller or optional SiC (silicon carbide) and ETFE (fluoropolymer) for your most aggressive or highest purity requirement. High-flow or high head, virtually any chemical fluid can be handled better by an Iwaki Walchem magnetic drive pump.

WMD / MD Series Magnetic Driven Pumps - Flow Rates to 30 GPM - HP to 1/3
WMD and MD pumps are constructed of Glass Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene or Carbon Fiber Reinforced Fluoroplastic (PVDF)  Standard O-ring is Fluoroelastomer (FKM) - similar to Viton. Bearing is Teflon (PTFE). details

MX Series Magnetic Driven Pumps - Flow rates to 130 GPM - fractional through 3 HP.  
A improvement of the MDH
allowing for improved performance and bearing design.  Constructed of Glass Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene or Carbon Fiber Reinforced Fluoroplastic (PVDF).  The usage of carbon bushing provides protection  against damage by dry running.  High strength magnets allows usage of standard 56C frame motor.  The cast iron motor bracket further increases inertial stability, reduces vibration, and dampens noise.  A thermoplastic foot mount eliminates "wet floor" corrosion typical of metallic pump mounts.  details

MDH Series Magnetic Driven Pumps - Flow Rates to 110 GPM - 1/2 through 3 HP
An industrial pump that looks, acts and runs like a heavy duty process pump.   MDH and MDH-D pumps are constructed of Glass Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene or Carbon Fiber Reinforced Fluoroplastic (PVDF).  The usage of carbon bushing provides protection  against damage by dry running.  High strength magnets allows usage of standard 56C frame motor.  The cast iron motor bracket further increases inertial stability, reduces vibration, and dampens noise.  A thermoplastic foot mount eliminates "wet floor" corrosion typical of metallic pump mounts. details
